I'm about 6 to 7 weeks.

Is it common to have light brown discharge, wiping after pee? I usually lightly dab my private area after peeing. Last week after v scan, off n on I notice it. Not sure if it's okay?

Brown discharge is normal. Just make sure it’s not bright red like menses and no unbearable sharp pain. You can consult a gynae for a peace of mind! Should be able to scan for fetus on ultrasound soon.

Experience with utrogestan 100mg

Im prescribed utrogestan due to previous 2 miscarriages and now in my 3rd oregnancy to stabilize the baby. Have bad experience with this utrogestan as it hits me like a truck 1h after consuming it post dinner. Anyone experience this and how do you counter it?

My gynae advised to insert it into vagina instead of taking it orally to reduce the side effects - namely the drowsiness. Not sure about your dose frequency, but mine is once a day only so I insert it every night before bed and actually helped with sleep lol

Last LMP on 15 April, tested with clearblue on 25 May and it showed 3+. Got a KKH appointment on 6 June.. Is the appointment too early to see heartbeat? As i have a history of miscarriage, so im hoping on the 1st scan ill be able to see the heartbeat or else having to wait for the next scan is gonna make me so anxious😬😬

Hi, was sick for the past 1 week. Didnt know i was pregnant till 2days ago.. been coughing so i took sea coconut cough mixture the past few days. Now i googled and it might not be good for pregnancy.. any advice?😭

For me I take ivy leaf extract, can buy off the shelf from Guardian… BUT check first if it’s suitable. Maybe try a throat spray?

1st Time Pregnancy

Hi all! I got a positive test on clear blue this week, and scheduling for a private KKH appointment. Any recommendations I should go for consultant or senior consultant for the first appointment and any KKH doctors' recommendation? :) Appreciate any sharing of experiences too :)

If you are doing private KKH, maybe it is better to stick to 1 consultant throughout? Just sharing my 1st born experience. I went to KKH private and my gynae was lovely. But despite being private, the wait was simply too long. And later on when you need to do other checks (like drawing blood, NIPT etc), you are required to go to another building and queue again. So overall the time taken is simply too long. So i moved to private after my first NIPT came out inconclusive. After doing the maths, the price isn’t significantly different (for my gynae at least) compared to private KKH. The wait time is significantly shorter too because everything can be done in doctor’s clinic instead of moving around. Something you can consider (:

I'm mid 4 to 5 week.. if feeling cramps good or not.. past few days was mild cramps today it's like barely cramps..is it good or see doc ?

Mild cramps are fine. Just try to avoid carrying heavy stuff. Just make sure no spotting

Gynae for TMC / Mount A

Hi parents! I'm a first time mum. Just tested positive at home and have not done research yet. I would like a gynae that is either from tmc or mount A. Would be great if their clinic is located at tampines 😂 thank you!!

My gynae’s clinic is at Mt E Novena But he has the option to deliver at TMC/Mt A/Mt E Novena. This is my 2nd pregnancy and I had very positive 1st experience with him. So does all my 6 other friends that I referred. He is Dr CK Khoo.

First time pregnant

Hello~ I missed my period by 6days and just peed on the stick. What am I suppose to do? I read some of the article to visit gyne 7~8 weeks. Is that from last period? Do I walk straight to KK or private clinic? Or i need to go to polyclinic to get referral?

Fever not subsiding week4d5 pregnancy

Hi i ate Panadol according to doc instruction but my fever doesn’t seem to subside much. Have yet to visit the gynae for first appt as it’s too small. I’m very worried about baby. Anyone experience this before? Any advices?

Don’t worry! It won’t affect your baby. I was sick every month during my second and third trimester. Just make sure you do not self medicate. Take pregnancy safe medication from doctor. My gynae told me to rest more, drink more water and take vitamin C to boost immune system. It’s normal for immune system to be weaker during pregnancy.
