What do you ladies drink?

Currently in 1st trim and having food aversions and nausea. What are you ladies currently drinking aside from plain water? Need some help here 🥹

I am 20 weeks pregnant. And my stomach pain whenever i sit. Is it normal?

I have that too when sitting and sometimes when lying on my side 🥲

19 weeks mamas!

Gained about 4-5kg so far, is this normal? Also haven’t felt baby’s kicks yet, when did you first feel baby’s kicks?

I felt some wavy motion on and off in my week 17 but not sure if that's the baby ' s movement (altho i think so haha)

Yeast infection & external bleeding

Having yeast infection ... with dry vagina during 2 tris ... cant stop the itch .. what should i do 😭😭

Period pain like

Hi, I m currently 21 weeks, is it normal to feel as though having period pain over lower abdomen?

At 21 weeks, some lower abdominal discomfort can come from round ligament pain or the uterus stretching, which is pretty common, but period-like cramping is something worth taking more seriously since it can sometimes signal something that needs attention. I would say it is hard to tell just from how it feels whether it is harmless or not, so the safest move is to get it checked by your gynae or go to KKH rather than wait and see. It is always better to have a doctor rule out anything concerning, just to give yourself peace of mind.

Nausea at 19 weeks

Im 19 weeks pregnant and still puking alot. Still unable to smell or eat seafood. Will tend to puke after food or drinking water too. Is this normal?

it's normal! I'm in my wk 20 and still vomitting at times when I drank too much water in the morning and even after eating supplements. Try to just sip abit of water and eat bit by bit. Try to snack in between also. Eating on empty stomach also will cause vomiting.

Prenatal massage

Any mummies here tried Schone mama massages? Are their packages steep??

They do have a trial session at $28 which is a good way to test before committing, but my friend who went said the therapist was quite pushy about signing a package afterwards, talking about needing at least 5 sessions to see results and steering towards a $6,000 package, so just be mentally prepared to say no if it's not in your budget. The trial itself left her feeling better physically, so the actual massage quality seems decent, it's more the upselling you need to watch out for. Honestly the trial price is low-risk enough to try, just go in with a clear budget in mind and don't let them pressure you on the day.

Want to change from TMC to KKH private gynae

Hi I'm in week 17 of my pregnancy and was doing my regular monthly checks with TMC. I thought of moving over from TMC to KKH private to save costs. Anyone did this before and any pros and cons?

kkh private also not cheap n they prefer you to come on weekdays. I went for Dr Tee 1st time on a sat on my 10 to 13 weeks he said sat charges is around 200 n for weighting and checking BP is another charge below 50 and the waiting time it take me an hour and Doc said next time come for scanning and another day come for the check up and come back after 5 weeks if I not wrong. sounds like need to take a lot of leave. for me I still prefer go outside private no need to wait for that long n maybe travel time lesser. I went for the 1 at kovan it charge me 140 waiting time less than 20min if I came late (miss my time slot) for giving birth I can choose the hospital I want that the doc go. TCM or MA

Drinking cold water during pregnancy

Hi, I’m currently at week 18 of my pregnancy and been craving and drinking cold water. Izit ok? As many told me cold water is no good for the baby.

I am crave for cold drinks as well. Not in my life before pregnancy. I think should be alright

C sections mum to be

Is that any mum will undergoing for the c section? Any mum choose Columbia Tebrau with Dr Eliza so far? #firsttimemom #bantujawab

Congrats on the upcoming arrival! Dr Eliza at Columbia Tebrau is an O&G specialist there, and from what I've heard she's known for being quite energetic and dedicated, the kind of doctor who genuinely puts in effort with her patients. Overall the feedback I've come across is fairly positive about her care, though I'd still recommend going for a consultation first to see if her approach suits you personally before committing.
