Spotting during pregnancy week 6

I started spotting at mid week 5 and went for a prenatal checkup at kkh. Did an ultrasound, and everything looks good. Was prescribed some progesterone medicine for 2 weeks. It has been around 1 week and 3 days (currently 7 weeks pregnant) since I have taken the medicine, but I'm still having light pink, but mainly brown discharge. Does anyone have a similar experience and can advise what to do? Should I continue to monitor until I finish the dosage or head back for another visit to the gynae?

My doc says it’s old blood and prolly an overworked body. Rest up!

Is my 10 week pregnancy and my face show a lot of acne and is dam annoying is there any product I can use to get it away from them 😭

Worries - repeat of incident

I had a silent miscarriage (no heartbeat detected at 8w of pregnancy) and underwent D&C last year. I recently found out that i’m pregnant but i’m worried the incident is going to repeat itself…kind of dreading the upcoming appt with my Gynae. Anyone with similar experience?

I hope all went well for you. It happened to me 2x in 2022, and I dread every scan I go to now…

12 weeks and have not gone to check

hi this is my 5th pregnancy and im 12 weeks now but i have not gone to poly to get referral for hospital yet. will i get scolded by them for going late? cause i found out quite late too about 9 weeks cause im bfeeding so my period isnt regular.

You will have to go poly ASAP and request for the earliest appointment date to be booked with the preferred hospital. My #1 I went for a checkup at the hospital only at 12 weeks. I was asked why I missed my first trimester. I was supposed to go for all the necessary tests but I didn't

Hello mummies. Is NIPT done at Kkh similar to harmony test? I took Panorama test for my first pregnancy in private hospital. Not sure how different are these.

Technically, it's the same, branding different. cost's also different. I did at private tmc panorama too and now switch to harmony at kkh to keep tests cost's low. technically the same thing.

Recording ultrasound video

Hello mummies! Any recommendations on clinic that allows recording of ultrasound scan? Most clinics are super strict and don’t allow. Just want a record of my baby’s movements and heartbeat sound for ease of mind 😀 any tips and tricks will be appreciated!

Hello! Doctor Pamela Tan from Thomson medical centre allows recording of the baby’s movement and heartbeat! Did that for every visits 😁

How do I stop eating so much? I vomit if I overeat & due to constipation, fart is also very smelly.

very insecure about this

Maybe you can try splitting and eating many meals but in smaller amount? It can spread across the day so you won’t overeat and vomit.

Pelvic girdle syndrome

39yo FTM Currently 12 weeks 5 days pregnant and having severe pelvic girdle syndrome. Went to A&E yesterday cause I was worried something is wrong with my baby. The scan shows ok and the dr prescribed some panadols. She refered me to a physiotherapist and told me that usually people in late pregnancy will encounter this. I walk like Im 7 mths pregnant. It feels heavy on my pelvic area. Feels like I have boils down there. Tossing and turning in bed is so painful too. Anyone with similar experience? I will try chiro as I have sciatica pain as well. Pregnancy is so hard but still feel so blessed 😭

I had it since the beginning of my pregnancy. Endured the pain till childbirth and it was gone.😪

Lesser appetite

Hi mummies! I am currently 11 weeks pregnant and realized my appetite is getting lesser during the day and nauseous + restless at night. Little to no morning sickness so far. Just that 2 concerns. Hmmmm

is normal just eat more meals to cover this
