Epi-no, any experience?

Hi mummies! Is any one of you using the Epi-no? I find it a bit hard to insert half the balloon into my vagina and keep it there for 10 minutes. I usually need to use my hand to hold it in place. Does anyone have any experience or tips on using it? Thanks, all ☺️

It is okay to use your hand to keep it in place to prevent it from sliding out. After all, you're just inserting half of the balloon in. If you want more assistance, you can even get your husband to help you pump so you can keep both hands in place to help you keep it in. I am currently using it too, to help prevent perineum tear. Keep going!

COVID 19 vaccination when 3rd trimester save or not?

Due date 21/01 can save take vaccination?

Why don’t you check with your gynae instead? Safer that way.

Raspberry leaf tea?

Hello mummies! Did you drink raspberry leaf tea nearing your due date, and did it work to induce labour? I’m only 10 days away from my EDD but still no signs of baby coming, so I’m wondering if I should order some online (can’t seem to find this tea in any supermarkets??).

Ive been taking it since week 32. My edd is 4 days away now so i dont think it really helps with induce but i really think it helps with labour itself because i dilated quite fast for my previous pregnancy.

No BM and Collostrum 3 days postpartum

Hi Mummies, Im 3 days postpartum (c-sect) and have been encourage to breastfeed my baby even thou nothing is out to stimulate the breast, after 15 minutes latching will then feed with formula. How to know if I will have milk supply coming in later? My nipples are as well 😭 There isnt any colostrum as well to collect. #pleasehelp #firstmom

Pump. It took me 1.5m of latching and pumping to build up my milk supply to just nice range. Then subsequently increased 😊.

reduced movement at 36 weeks

Is it normal for fetus to move much lesser at 36 weeks? I read that since there’s not much room for the fetus to move now that movements can reduce, however i noticed a significant reduction in his movements since yesterday. any cause for concern or should i just wait it out?

it's normal, but if you really worry u can go and ask doc.. so they will do scan for you..

Week 38 Waiting Game

Hello, im at week 38 and 1 day, have been in standby for almost 2 weeks and the waiting game is a such a mental torture hahaha. Like never know is gonna happen! Just sharing #firsttimemom

me too waiting. 38 + 6 days... 2nd child after 10 years.

Hi mommies, looking to get my newborn daughter’s ear pierced within 1 month after her birth. Firstly is it ok? I’ve seen my friends daughters piercing at 6-10 months and they’ve pulled off their earrings . I don’t want to kenna that. Looking for clinic kind of setting. May I know how much will be the cost and also will the clinic provide earrings or we have to buy? Thanks!!

For ear piercing I would say safe to do after 3 months before 1 years old. You can do at Neptune Clinic or Dr Balkis. I did for both my girls at Dr Balkis, $50 for piercing and they provide their own earring. Have to regularly clear the ear area to avoid infection or smell.

Covid+ at 34weeks

Tested positive yesterday. Currently having runny nose, bodyache and occasionally coughing (more at night). Couldn’t sleep as body feels hot but checked only 37.6deg celcius. Should i call the delivery suite to inform bout this? Haven’t inform yet worry need to be warded and also worry need to go labour soon.

Just see a normal GP to get some medicine safe for pregnancy will do. Don’t worry. You’ll recover soon

Fake contraction

Now 35w4d but this morning I can feel contraction around 10mins and repeat again untill almost half an hour more... Have someone feel like me?

Yes it’s pretty normal

Amniotic fluid or discharge

Hi, any mummies know if this is amniotic fluid leaking or normal discharge. Looks slightly pale yellow/green, not sticky, definitely not milky white & it comes out when I sit down or after washing up when I pee. #advicepls #firstmom
