A son with G6PD

Hello there! I am a mother of a beautiful baby boy who I have just found out has G6PD. Is there any precautions for any food or ingredients that I should stay away from? I’ve done my research, but it has left me more confused for there are different articles that says I can have soya some say that I can’t. Not o my soya but a lot more too.

Aiyoh, I know how confusing it can be, G6PD can be scary when you first find out! The thing is, trigger foods really vary depending on how severe your son's condition is, so please sit down with his paediatrician or a specialist to get a proper list for YOUR son specifically , they'll know his levels and can give you the exact do's and don'ts (including about the soya confusion!). A few of us mum friends with G6PD kids have found that once the doctor gives us the clear list, it's actually not as restrictive as the internet makes it seem, mas-mas articles out there are general and don't account for each child's severity. Don't stress too much; just get that professional guidance and you'll know exactly what to avoid and what's safe. You're doing great by researching already!

Baby sebulan kerap kentut

Salam. Nak tnya. Normal ke baby kerap kentut. Sejam kadang lebih 2 kali kentut. Kadang sebelum kentut tu dia nangis atau buat bunyi tak selesa.

Kembung rasanya tu. Buat urutan ilu (refer utube)

Sayang, this is something you really need to check with your doctor or midwife today, jangan tunggu esok lagi! Reduced fetal movement boleh jadi banyak reasons, tapi better safe than sorry, especially at 28 weeks. A few of my mum friends went through this and all turned out okay after they got checked, but the peace of mind really matters when you're expecting. Call your clinic or go to the nearest hospital for a quick scan, okay? Sending you lots of calming thoughts, I'm sure baby is fine, tapi kita kena confirm je. Keep me posted, hun!

Bayi 2 bulan tak buang air besar

Baby saya 2 bulan tak buang air besar dah nak masuk 3 hari. Normal ke? Dia fully breast feed, setakat ni selera makan, kencing semua ok

Aww congrats on baby! First few weeks is really about keeping things simple, focus on rest, hydration, and feeding (whether breast or bottle), jangan lah try to do everything at once okay. A few of us mums found it helped so much to accept help from family or friends, whether for cooking, cleaning, or just someone to talk to when the hormones are all over the place. Skincare wise, keep it minimal, just gentle cleanser and moisturiser, but if you're dealing with pregnancy acne or any skin stuff postpartum, I'd recommend checking what works best for your skin type. Most important is being kind to yourself lah, the house can wait, your body and mental health come first! Anything specific you're worried about?

Sex after postpartum

It’s been over a little 6 weeks after giving birth and I’ve had my 1st intimate time with my husband. Is it normal that after intercourse , I see a little bleeding? Or is it not normal? Should I be worried? I feel no discomfort or sort but just see a little bleeding.

6w after birth is too early to intimate my dear. because there are still bleeding from your delivery. we always wait around 12-14w.
