Hello! We also went to Dr Leo Seo Wei, who is a paediatric eye doctor in Singapore. My son was already 8 years old when we noticed he had a lazy eye, so we decided to have it checked. Dr Leo was very reassuring and told us there was nothing to worry about. She gave him a prescription, and since then we’ve been more mindful about taking care of his eyes and limiting his screen time. Hope this helps in any way!

Yes, myopia can occur in a 4-year-old. There’s no home remedy to reverse it, but its progression can often be slowed. Get a pediatric eye check-up, ensure the child wears the correct glasses, encourage around 2 hours of outdoor activity daily, and limit prolonged screen/close-up work. If myopia is progressing, an eye specialist may recommend treatments such as low-dose atropine ** censored link **

Hello! We went to Dr Steve Seah for an eye check-up, and he prescribed glasses for us. We’re still going back for regular check-ups and follow up on his advice. So far, we’ve been happy with the care and guidance from Dr Seah and the team!
