Is Eyedrop can use as Nasal Drop ?

Yesterday i go to Hospital checkup for my 1 month baby because of cough . Then the doctor say she have a flu . For her nose blocking , the doctor give me an eyedrop to drop in her nose . Is it can or the doctor might be give a wrong medicine ?
