Hi Working Mummies I am unemployed now and my baby is due next month Dec. I would like to return back to the workforce after my confinement, around end Jan. Planning to hire a daytime nanny to take care of my baby tgt with my mum. Would like to hear your views if this is feasible? Or is actually not ideal? Thanks.

Is it a financial need to return to the work force so quickly? Most mums take at least 4 months of maternity leave to bond with baby and recover from the delivery. Hiring a daytime nanny can be quite expensive and not subsidized too. Of course if it is financially necessary, then by all means! Jia you!
