Hire nanny or confinement??

Hi mummies, my EDD is in May and I’ve been quite stressed recently 😅Initially I planned to stay at home with a confinement nanny, but unfortunately she had some last minute issues and might not be available anymore…haizzz so tired and harder to find a nannySo recently I went to view a confinement centre instead, and honestly the environment looks quite comfortable, now I’m reconsidering my options 🤔Did you all choose a confinement centre or hire a confinement nanny at home????Now a bit of change my mind after viewing the confinement center,I feel confinement centre might be less stressful since everything is taken care of, but still unsure!Would really appreciate your experiences and recommendations 🙏#nanny #confinement #pregnant #sg

I went with confinement centre with my first baby and now the second one. Confinement centre is better. Got nurses to take care of baby day and night. If you want to breastfeed, can take baby to room in. If don't want, just express breastmilk out for the nurse to feed baby or allow them to do mixed feeding, ie give formula for top up or when needed. Baby diaper, mummy food, and laundry all taken care of. Nurse checks on baby and mummy health. Got some talks and activities. Confinement lady cheaper. But need to buy own cooking ingredients and baby diaper, likely take care of baby at night since she needs to rest at night. Laundry self managed. If Chinese, need to give them an angpow after service completed.
