Does your baby self-soothe for naps & bedtime?

With all these articles about self-soothing I’m curious- does your baby actually self-soothe for naps & bedtime or is this just a myth? ?

Yes, my baby self soothes herself whenever she feels sleepy... could be turning her head from side to side and/or sucking on her fist.. after that she dozes off.. She only cries to be carried and rocked to sleep when she try to sleep but can’t and thus gets frustrated haha

Approx 2 months? She’s turning 3 months in a few days time..

Personally I don’t think it’s a myth.. My girl able to self soothe to sleep without pacifier, sucking fingers or by drinking milk from bottle (which she never drank milk from bottle before).

My baby self soothes to slp by sucking on her fingers. Though every now n then she still wants to be carried to slp!
