OSCAR or NIPT

My wife is currently 8 weeks pregnant and we were in a dilemma when asked to choose to do either OSCAR (~$350) or Panorama (NIPT) (~$1,100 - 1, 550). Prices are private rate from Thomson Women's Clinic. Dr did suggest to do the NIPT and the neck measurement for a more comprehensive test. Any advise will be helpful. TIA. If you are older then NIPT is usually recommended as it’s more reliable results. Oscar calculate probability.

NIPT for sure, you’ll get to know the baby’s gender as soon as 10 weeks if you do it on week 9!

NIPT! Oscar if results come back non ideal you’ll end up spending for NIPT too.

if youre young oscar is good. but if you can afford NIPT than definitely go for NIPT

I did NIPT as that was the more recommended option. gives more peace of mind too.

I did both , as OSCAR come out result not good and Dr request to do NIPT again

I did NIPT for more assurance and got to know gender earlier too.

I took nipt for more accurate results and a peace of mind

nipt will b recommended as it is much accurate than oscar
