When should baby be able to hold her head steady by herself?

I started tummy time for my daughter soon after she was born. She was able to hold her head up at about 1 month plus and could hold steadily at about 3 months. By 3 to 4 months, your baby should be able to lift his head up while on tummy time at 45 degrees and keep it steady.
