When is my child ready to be weaned from the bottle?

I latched my kids until they were 3 and 2 respectively. After weaning, I switched to bottle feedings. Some parents prefer to wean bottle at later age due to the fact that bottle is more convenient to be used, especially in the middle of night. Normally when kids are in kindergarten age, they are more ready to wean from bottle as their milk intake frequency is much lesser, say 1-2times per day only. During this period, it is easier to wean from bottle. Also, it is easier to reason with kid about cons of drinking from bottle (e.g. tooth decay etc.).
