When can we introduce ice cream to LO?

I will try to delay letting my LO try ice cream as I don't want my baby to get too used and addicted to sweet foods. Before 1 year old I will refrain from doing it. After 1 perhaps you can let her have a lick or two. I agree with the above post about giving healthier choice snacks like fruits Popsicles or plain no sugar yoghurt.
