What is the side effects of jaundice, besides hearing problem? Thanks.

Just to add on, I've came across this article and it noted that if if a baby develops jaundice within the first 24 hours of life it can be a sign that they have some underlying problem. Other signs would include baby sleeping more than what a usual newborn would. He/she may seem lethargic and will not cry for feeds every three to four hours as per the normal reactions of a normal newborn.
