For me, my baby makes some noise at night to signal that she's hungry but her eyes are still closed. I rouse her cheeks gently and nurse her. She's actually half-asleep when dream feeding. You don't have to wake him up fully, just enough for him to suckle.
Dream feeding is when you wake a sleeping baby and nurse him. I dream feed my baby in the middle of the night around 4am. :) It's really easy and convenient. http://www.netmums.com/baby/sleep/dream-feeds-the-pros-and-cons
Jamie, do I actually need to wake my baby up or I can feed him while he is sleeping? I'mean actually trying to get him to sleep through the night and waking him seems like a bad idea.
thanks
