What to do if my 4 month old has a fever?

Always use a reliable thermometer to measure the temperature. If your baby's temperature is above 37.5 degrees Celsius, it is advisable to visit a doctor before you administer any oral medication. You can also get the baby fever patch in your first aid box & use it when your baby temperature is very high & you are unable to reach a doctor promptly. Always check the baby temperature every 4-6hours before you feed medication. Lastly dress your baby in loose & comfortable clothings & let them rest. A point to note that you should never feed a baby before 6months old any water. However, you need to ensure they remain hydrated with breastmilk or formula milk so that their fever will go away soon
