Dec 2022 Edd 🙋‍♀️

Went for second scan in week 10, edd shifted from end nov to early Dec. Is it normal? And doctor says to follow this latest edd even if next week scans have diff edd. 🧐

Yes because around week 10, it’s a clearer scan of your baby’s length which determines the current gestational age and edd. Subsequently if the baby under or over grows, your gynae will know if the development was affected because of lack of nutrition, conditions that you or your baby has and will be able to monitor you and the baby. One common example is baby’s who develop faster than they should be, it could be a sign of gestational diabetes because diabetes during pregnancy will cause the mummy to have large babies. By right, now that you are nearing 2nd trim, baby’s development should be stable already.
