Is yoga and pilates safe during pregnancy and just after?

6y trước

Yoga and Pilates are low-impact exercises, and they are known to be beneficial for mummies during and after pregnancy. If you are pregnant and have not done yoga/ pilates before, you can start prenatal classes during the second trimester (upon getting your gynae's approval of course)! After childbirth, you can also ease into yoga/ pilates from 4 to 8 weeks postpartum, depending on how you delivered your baby, and if your gynae has assessed that you are fit to start exercising.
