Storing cord blood and cord tissue

Just wanna share, not trying to sell.. I am ftm, decided to store the cord blood and tissue with cyroviva. I chanced upon this at TMC. Cost is $6850 bef gst - can be fully deducted from CDA 3 free gifts you can choose, i choose UV steriliser and breast pump. As i will be delivering in Thomson, i got additional benefits such as free membership worth $118 it comes with welcome gift worth $150 $300 off to deliver at TMC Premier room. Free 12m diaper supply. Not sure if i make the correct decision but as this is our first 👶🏻 i will treat this as insurance though they already say wont be 100% match. Sibling is 80% and parents 50%

Congrats on your first baby, how exciting! I actually stored my son's cord blood and tissue with Cryoviva too, so this brought back memories, I remember feeling the same mix of hope and uncertainty when I signed up, wondering if I was making the right call. From what I have heard from other mums around me, the general consensus is that the peace of mind is worth it, especially since you can use CDA to offset the cost fully, which really softens the financial side. One thing a friend who stored with them mentioned is that she appreciated how they handle the storage with 24/7 monitoring and proper accreditation, which made her feel more confident about the long-term reliability. Some mums did raise that the sibling and parent match rates are not guaranteed, so it is good you already went in with clear expectations rather than thinking it is a sure thing. The TMC bundle perks you got sound really solid, the free diaper supply and breast pump alone are quite practical for a first-time mum. Hope your delivery goes smoothly and wishing you and baby all the best ahead!
