Blood test for both parents is to test dna chromosome to find out about baby's dna and chromosome condition. Check with kkh whether you want to do nipt or harmony test. But I think at 16 weeks you can do harmony test only. But check with gynae is the best. I did both tests.
my hubby had to do blood test to check for anythind bad in blood that may be transferred to baby. but doc will ask if you want to do it or not (kkh). would be better if you do because its for the sake of baby's health
Our doctor got my hub to do a blood test for thalassemia. Had to go KKH to do it n register the results there even though our doc is at Mt A. One time effort, if you plan for 2nd child n more, not needed anymore.
Nope, fathers don’t need to do any blood tests unless he has some medical issues like suspected Hepatitis B, thalassemia etc
Nope. Doc only did blood test for mummy.
