Just venting my anger. My LO’s one year old birthday, we ordered specially designed cake to celebrate on his actual day. Ended up, just because my BIL didn’t wanna come over to celebrate, his whole family didn’t turn up. We have to cut the cake just me n my hubby n baby. Luckily I didn’t order any food (some women’s instinct). I will not arrange anymore birthdays. What a lousy MIL I have. She grumbles all the time, why didn’t I bring baby to her place every week, when she doesn’t even play with baby. Her hse is full of cigarettes smell + dust (hoarder). Yet when I asked her, why dun u come over, her reply was she’s lazy. ARGH.

Sounds like my mil. Never ask her out, she say we forgot about her. When we ask her out, she say lazy…. I got rejected so many times until I don’t bother asking anymore then now she auto come over 😂. Next time just prioritise your own family, if they suddenly appear then not enough for them, ask them to order their own food.

Don't bother inviting them for anything,just plan between your family. If they want to join, they're welcome, but don't make plans specially for them since it appears like they don't care anyway, so don't bother.
