changing diaper

Usually what do all mummies do... wait till diaper full before changing or change every 2-3hourly according to schedule? And how to count diapers in a day? Is it only full considered one?

If my LO is sleeping, I don’t wake her up to change. But during waking hours, I change after every poop, and if the indicator shows it’s wet. You count wet diapers for each pee/poo, not only when it’s full
