4yrs old not ready for potty training.

Hi. My twin daughters is 4yrs old. However they are still wearing diapers. How do u get them to go for potty training? Have tried to go diaperless for them when at home. But they will start crying and wanting to wear diapers. At times they will want to wear panties. At times they don't. How do u mummies train your kids to go the potty? Need some advice please.....

My girl was the same way around that age, so please don't stress too much because every child really does get there at their own pace. What helped us was letting her pick her own panties at the shop, so she felt excited to wear them and didn't want to "waste" them by having an accident. You can also try a simple sticker reward chart where they get a sticker each time they successfully use the potty, and twins can even cheer each other on which is a bonus. Just keep it low pressure and celebrate the small wins, and before you know it they will get the hang of it lah.
