Tummy time is it neccessary?

Do tummy time is very neccessary for a baby?Coz i try to do tummy time with my baby, he seems so struggle and I cant watch he is struggling.Especially when his faces is facing down. My husband seem to see that i am torturing his son.

How old is your baby? My baby has the same issue too when she was a newborn. But she's okay with tummy time when she turned 3 months old. Don't give up!
