is it true?

is it true that we could get pregnant easily after gave birth? we used a condom but then it slipped out. i did asked him if he felt the condom before he came but he said he wasn't sure. now i am paranoid because my baby is 3 months and im not ready for another baby in few years time or ever. what should i do? i cant stop thinking what ifs!
