"This was posted today by psychologist and life coach Ali Gui on FB: Jealousy is not worth ruining a relationship over. You need to preserve what's important and figure out how to mitigate the negative emotions." Do you agree? Has jealousy been a problem before between you and your spouse? Share your thoughts please.
Yes, it's absolutely been a problem, since my husband has a female best friend who is too close to him for (my) comfort. But I agree with the quote -- what's important in our relationship is trust, and that's what I use to mitigate the negative emotions.
Yeah jealousy sometimes definitely comes into picture and sometimes it does create problems in the relationship but then one has to understand till what extent to let the jealousy over shadow everything between you and your spouse.
If you're confident enough, jealousy will never have a hold over you. On the other hand, both parties have to make sure that their spouse is the person that they spend the most time talking to, instead of a third party.

A relationship is based on trust and yes, I used to have issues with my husband having female friends but it got better over time after talking about it.
It sure has been for me, it is just human instincts. More importantly is how you get over it and sort it out with your other half.
jealousy is a sign of lack of confidence of the jealous person
thanks
