Thinking of getting a FOSCAM (indoor cctv) -- any suggestion on the model I should get? Ideally something that I can view on my phone as well when I'm away.

Not too sure about Foscam. I'm using Vstar. Pretty good. Able to view it on phone wherever i am. it has 270deg turning. Able to talk and listen from it. Able to do recording too. Sometimes if i need to be in my room to do something, i will turn it on and monitor my kids and helper while im in my room

You may want to try an IT Camera D-Link. I used it before and it worked really well. I was also able to access it via my mobile phones. It is available at most IT shops.
