Hi Dr June, salam sejahtera, saya nak bertanya, sejak setahun dua ni kitaran haid saya semakin sedikit dan sekejap. Jika dulu kitaran haid saya 7-8 hari, sekarang hanya 4-5 hari. Buat pengetahuan doktor, saya berumur 30 tahun dan mempunyai 1 orang anak berumur 2 tahun 5 bulan. Adakah itu salah satu tanda gangguan kitaraan haid? Bagaimana nak kenal pasti jika menghidapi PCOS? Terima kasih Dr.
Slm sejahtera Pn Nurul Syafikha, terima kasih atas soalan anda.

Hello, salam sejahtera, terima kasih atas soalan anda, maaf diatas kelewatan membalas soalan puan. Terima kasih

Question 3, 4 & 5: Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) cannot be cured, but the symptoms can be managed. Treatment options can vary because someone with PCOS may experience a range of symptoms, or just 1. Doctors diagnose PCOS if women have at least two of three main symptoms — high androgen levels, irregular periods, and cysts in the ovaries. A pelvic exam, blood tests, and ultrasound can confirm the diagnosis.

Hi Dr. June, how can PCOS and/or PCOD affect my daily function? Is it possible for me to have mild PCOS or PCOD and not know it?
Hello Mrs/ Sender, thank you for your questions. First of all, someone diagnosed with PCOS needs to know that it is caused by hormones imblance.
