Baby sitting with support

My soon-to-be 6 months old baby can sit but with support. He’s not able to sit without support yet. Is this normal? Quite concerned as soon I will be feeding him solids and I know that he needs to be able to sit unsupported. Help.

Just get a baby comfy chair for him when you want to start to feed him solid. Different paces for different babies. My baby started sitting at 3months and I was worried that it was too early

So long as your baby can hold/support the head, you can start on solids ready.
