Just Mums

Is it normal that my 16m baby doesnt speak much

My son only says words only if he feels like it. Some days he will say either mama,dada,hi/bye. I've heard him saying car and bear before. He repeats the word a few times in a day for abt few weeks (but now no more only mama dada sometimes). But he likes to say the word "mamam" (makan/eat) everyday whenever he's hungry. I think it's his favourite word😂. Other than that he doesn't speak much words just alot of babble or only if he feels like it. Should I be concerned?#adviceappreciated
