Show yourself a little grace, mom!
There’s no one-size-fits-all answer. Some days we feel like we’re thriving; other days, we’re barely holding it together. And that’s okay. Here are a few truths I’ve learned: • It’s okay to ask for help. You don’t have to carry it all alone. Lean on your partner, friends, family, or even coworkers. • Grace is key. There will be moments when work deadlines clash with school events or when exhaustion takes over. Show yourself compassion. You’re human. • Your presence matters more than perfection. Whether it’s 10 minutes of uninterrupted time or a weekend adventure, the love you pour into your family is enough. • You are not alone. Many of us share these struggles and triumphs, and there’s so much power in community. To my fellow working moms, always remember that you are doing enough, and you are enough. Let’s continue to lift one another up and share the strategies that help us cope.
