Singapore actress Julie Tan was recently in hospital after suffering from a mystery illness.
She told U-Weekly that the sickness was later found to be caused by stones in her gall bladder.
Apparently, she had severe body pain, high fever, and nausea and discomfort in her abdomen.
Doctors found several gallstones in her gall bladder, the biggest of which measured 0.7cm. Her bilirubin levels were also found to be slightly high.
In hospital, Julie experienced low blood pressure, and was put on a drip. The actress believes that the gall stones could be due to her habit of skipping breakfast or eating spicy food.
She was discharged from hospital on 31 Oct 2018. Doctors have now instructed the 26-year-old to take rest, and avoid fried and oily food.
