Just Mums

Lesser milk supply

Since day 1 , I had low milk supply. 1month PP, I managed to give my girl 90ml EBM for about a week, feeding her (about) 2hrs apart. However 3days ago, my supply suddenly dropped to 50-60ml till today. Had been taking fenugreek supplements too but not helping much. Not sure what happen or causes my milk supply to drop. Any mummies encounter the same problem before? I am trying my best to drink more water & soup, eat papaya... Trying my best to catch up on sleep though abit challenging....

Stress, lack of sleep, illness, taking medicine all can make the milk supply drop. Went through it twice and have been working hard to keep rebuilding the supply. Drink loads of fluids, must really try to sleep, think about your baby or look at photos/videos while pumping, eat well. Hope your supply goes back up soon!
