Should I wake a sleeping baby to feed him?

depending on whether your baby is in the first few weeks or is about 2 months or so, you may or may not have to wake up baby. in the initial first few weeks, your baby should be fed every 2 hours, so that he gets the required amount of nutrition and is able to gain the right weight. by the time he is 2 or 3 months old, he will be able to understand the feed on demand concept, and will mostly wake up for feed himself.
