For a newborn who can’t flip, if I’m watching the baby, sometimes I put her to the side especially when she didn’t manage to burp properly (she chokes on her milk while sleeping on her back sometimes). But if I’m going out of the room, overall, the back is still safer.
Unless your baby has burping difficulty and need to sleep on side, else back is always the best. Keep an eye on them if they sleep on side as they might flip and suffocate
What if the baby has tendency of vomiting aft every feed.. wont placing on the back cause chocking.
On the back. So if she/he regurgitate, they can turn their heads to the side to prevent chocking
Place on the back. Make sure u burp ur baby well first after feeding before placing in the cot.
Placed on the back, for safety reason. Make sure u burp the baby well beforehand.
The safest and most recommended is sleeping on their back.
Always placed your newborn on their back after burping
On the back for safety reasons
Side will be ideal
