not true, eventually ur baby hair will be thicker. but it is good to shave since baby always drop their newborn hair, if u never shave you got to clean n wash the pillow case n bedsheet.

Shaving a baby’s head may give an illusion of thicker hair, only because the hair grows back more evenly and has blunt edges.

A brave/cruel parent could run a test. Shave half the head and let us know what has happened in 2-3 years time.
