Speech Delay

Wa'alaikumassalam sis! Takyah worry dulu, at 18 months banyak anak lagi tak banyak words, especially boys. A few of my mum friends punya anak sama situation, then by 2-3 years tiba-tiba naik naik je speech nya. Good thing you dapat eye contact dan respond to simple instructions, that's actually a positive sign lah. Tapi since you dah book appointment at KK next month, that's the right move, doktor boleh assess properly whether dia just slow talker or ada other thing, then guide you on speech therapy if needed. Dalam masa tu boleh lah try simple things like talk to him banyak-banyak, read books together, point out things and name them, memang cliché but honestly effective. Jangan stress, sekarang pun dah on the right track!
