Planning a family day trip to Kildare — any recommendations for things to do with kids?

We’re thinking about spending a day in Kildare with the family and would love some recommendations. Ideally looking for somewhere that works well with kids, has places to eat, and gives parents a chance to relax or do a little shopping too. Has anyone visited Kildare Village with children? Was it worth including in a family day trip? #Respctpost

I think you may have posted in the wrong community, as this is the Asian Parents Singapore group and Kildare is in Ireland. You might get better responses if you post in a Ireland or UK parenting group instead, where mums there would have firsthand experience with places like Kildare Village and can give you solid recommendations for family-friendly activities and restaurants in that area.
