Oh, you're definitely not alone, sciatica in the second trimester is super common, actually. The weight shift and how your body's trying to stabilise your pelvis just puts a lot of pressure on that nerve, so it makes sense you're feeling it now. A few things have really helped people I know: daily stretching (even gentle ones), warm baths, and prenatal yoga seem to make the biggest difference, though honestly, some days they work better than others. Someone in my mum group swore by using a pool if she could access one, because the water takes so much pressure off. Hot and cold compresses also helped her manage the sharper days. The good news is that for a lot of mums, it does ease up within a month or so once your body adjusts, though everyone's timeline is a bit different. That said, it's definitely worth checking in with your doctor or a physio who specialises in pregnancy, they can give you specific stretches tailored to what's triggering yours, and rule out anything else going on. Hoping it settles down for you soon!
