Yeast Infection

Hello po mga momsh. Anyone here na nagkayeast infection before or during delivery? Kamusta po si baby pagkapanganak? I watched a video kasi na nagkaoral thrush yung newborn. Nagamot na kasi yung yeast infection ko when I was 5 months palang. Tapos bumabalik now na 40 weeks na ako. Bukas pa yung checkup ko pero baka kasi maglabor na ako. Baka hindi na magamot. Please share your thoughts or experience po.

Ay, totoo yan momsh, yeast infections can come back especially towards the end of pregnancy kasi ang hormones are all over the place! Honestly, a few of us mums nag-deal din with this, and marami nang babies na okay lang kahit may yeast infection ang mama during delivery, it's not automatic na makakakuha ng thrush. That said, better bring it up talaga sa doctor bukas if you can, or kahit mag-call lang beforehand to mention it, kasi may meds na safe pa rin to use and may specific precautions din if needed during labor, so you're covered. Wala kasing masama sa pag-prepare, lalo na ngayong malapit na due date mo! Hang in there, you've got this!
