Yellow nasal discharge is pretty normal for newborns as long as there's no fever or breathing difficulty, and ear discharge can just be earwax working its way out, it can naturally look white or yellow. Someone in my mum group mentioned that ears are actually self-cleaning, so no need to use earbuds as that just pushes wax deeper and can cause more problems. That said, if the discharge seems excessive, has a bad smell, or your baby seems uncomfortable, do check with your paediatrician just to be safe!
