Sucking fingers & rubbing eyes - sleepy cue?

Other than the usual yawning, is sucking fingers and rubbing eyes/face until red considered as sleepy cue for babies? Specifically 3 months old

Not necessarily.. my baby also keeps rubbing his eyes and face until red despite having a long nap. I think just cranky😂

it is for my LO. Sucking fingers could also be a sign of hunger though.
