Is it ok to not talk to newborn when awake

Is it ok to not talk to baby much when theyre awake? I feel bad for not talking to my baby when he’s awake but im way too tired and i just need time to rest for awhile 😭 but they say we need to always talk and interact with baby

don't talk to baby during night feedings when they are awake or they will find it hard to go back to sleep. but usually I can't help but whisper or smile at my baby haha😊
