Little red @ csection

Yes lah at one month postpartum it is quite normal for the csect scar to still look a little red along the scar line because the skin is still in the healing process! The redness usually slowly fades over the next few months and eventually the scar will turn into a lighter pinkish then whitish colour, so don't worry too much as long as the scar is dry and not oozing anything. But if the redness is spreading beyond the scar line, feeling very warm to touch, got swelling, smelly discharge or you have fever then please see your doctor faster faster because those could be signs of infection, otherwise just keep the area clean and dry and maybe ask your gynae about scar gel like Dermatix which helps with healing and reducing redness!
