Renovation noise at 15w

Question

My neighbor upstairs are renovating their entire house and I live directly downstairs. They are drilling and breaking the floor tiles, its so goddamn loud. The worst thing is I work night shift and need to sleep in the day. Im so worried that this will impact the babys hearing.. What can I do? #pleasehelp #advicepls

At 15 weeks your baby hearing not developed yet so don’t worry. The concern is more of how the drilling vibration and noise is affecting YOU :) because your emotions of anxiety and frustration, and the lack of sufficient sleep can be bring negative impact to your baby development. I also had renovating neighbors during pregnancy and I escaped to the library or parents place for a while. You can refer to the paper notice the reno paste outside your lift to know what dates they will carry out demolition works and try to avoid them. Make some arrangements for sake of your baby’s benefit :)
