Wow.. this is really gonna be a long long comment if i were to reply fully!! Haa!! In short, First, consider how willing are you to learn the wraps and ring slings which has steeper learning curve? Second, do you want a compact and "throw in bag" carrier or can tolerate carrier hanging on your body kind if you alternate use with stroller? Third, the age of your little one is also a factor to determine which you want to use, so probably good to ask for some guidance before u commit to one. If you want a soft and thin wrap or ringsling, i would suggest get a Japanese brand, local retailer Warabee sells it. If not, supportive popular brands like Yaro, Didymos, Girasol etc are good too. You also can attend babywearing workshops held by www.facebook.com/babycarriersrentalsg to learn it well and build your confidence to wear it ergonomically from babywearing consultant. You can learn to breastfeed in a ringsling properly too if you ask the owner, a mother of 3 😉 As for SSCs, they have their own list to select and see which suit you and baby. If u need to know more can alert me. Happy Babywearing! 👍🏻
I personally have used both wraps and soft structured carriers and I find that they work for different circumstances. For newborns, a wrap or sling is recommended as it provides the support that a newborn needs. I changed to a carrier when my baby was above 6 months old. Right now, my baby is 1year old and I use the sling and baby carrier. I find that slings and carriers are more convenient and easy to use. Wraps do require some time to learn to wrap properly. Moreover for the Singapore weather, a sling or carrier is cooler than a wrap.
may matanda dito sa subd namin na biglang nanghingi ng pangkape sa asawa ko. binigyan naman niya, tapos tinanong kung may anak na sya, sabi niya wala pa. sabi nung matanda "hayaan mo, magkakababy ka na next year." this happened last year. found out this year on my birthday after trying to get pregnant for many years. 😊
Hindi na hehe yung manghuhula ng nanay ko sabi sa kanya na mag remarry siya at 39 y/o. Tapos ako daw makakapangasawa ng foreigner. My mom is a happily single golden girl (53 y/o) with no more marriages or partners after the age of 36. And my partner (soon to be hubby) is as Filipino as they come 😁
