My toddler son recently got hfmd from his childcare and I suppose it has spreaded to me and my 5mo infant. Qns: can I still latch my 5mo and express milk for her to drink? PS. We r making arrangement to go see doc now.

I personally feel that it is ok to breastfeed as we have antibodies when we breastfeed. It wont affect breastmilk. It is just like having fever where mothers are still encouraged to breastfeed baby though mothers are unwell. If in doubt, clarify with the doctor.
