My baby takes everything else but just doesnt take the teether , im worried as other stuff might cause infection..how can i help my baby to use the teether?

There are many types of teethers in the market and made out of difference material. Most popular teether would be Sophie the Giraffe, although it is pretty pricey for a short term toy. My son likes those Korean teether shape like grape/strawberry. It can be found in Kiddy Palace at less than $15, $9 if you buy during babyfairs. Alternatively, you can try give your baby a frozen cloth for him to gnaw on. Or make your own frozen milk teethers. Here's the link on how to make them. It's prettt straightforward and my son loveeeeesss them. http://koalamom.com/296/momsicles/

The spongey texture of these frozen baked goods absorbs drool and they taste yummier than a teether. However this option is for older babies and must always be supervised cos baby can choke from these treats. I've also seen families using home made popsicles (made out of juice or frozen fruits like apples) but again, for older babies and absolutely important to have supervision to prevent accidents.

If your baby seems irritable, then check with doctor if it is OK. Don't use teething gels and tablets because they may not be safe for babies. The care and cleaning of your baby's teeth is important for long-term dental health
