My baby leaves half his formula in each feeding session? Can I keep it for later or discard?

As per the instructions at the back of the tin, milk is to be consumed within 1 hour after making it. This is because bacteria growth will start increasing at room temperature. My son usually drinks half and gets distracted and will continue about half an hour later when he remembers his milk lol
